- The Circular Logic AMLAP Relay is a very informal event:
- You can enter as many or as few relay members as you wish
- You may run as many or as few loops as you wish
- Your team can run it in any way you want...two people each running laps or 6 people running alternate laps or 2 people running 3 laps at a time or whatever...we don’t care...you make it work for you.
- You can include anyone you want on your team: all male, all female, co-ed, family, young/old, even (gasp) Purdue and IU people on the same team.
- We'll put a timing chip on a baton. Each time you swap runners, you'll have to pass the baton to the new runner.
- Therefore, it’s simply up to the team to get the chip around the course As Many Loops As Possible (or as many as you like - aka - share a marathon or more or less all your teams loops will be chip timed!)
- We'll make registration simple too.
- On the registration page, there is a separate category called "AMLAP Relay" .
- The team "captain" is the only person registers the team. Team members can register under their team.
- Registration includes:
- The team registration fee
- The award for the AMLAP Relay is the high-fives and team building! Every finisher will receive their personal CLM Finisher Swag!
- Since the Relay is "free form", there won't be equivalence between teams.
- However, we will publish the results of all the teams
- The team members will still be able to get their official lap splits, just like the solo runners
- Team members who are not running can stand around, sit down, eat, drink and cheer on other runners!
- You can also set up camp with a tent or other elements to cheer from.
- Any inter-office competition you want to set up is perfectly OK by us!!
